  1. Introduction
    Welcome to Card Genius. This Payment Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing all payments for any premium services, subscriptions, or one-time purchases (collectively, “Services”) offered on our website, cardgenius.co.in. By subscribing to or purchasing any of our paid Services, you agree to the terms set forth in this policy.
  2. Our Services
    Card Genius is an information portal. Currently, all our core content is provided free of charge. Any future premium services (e.g., personalized credit card recommendation reports, advanced comparison tools, ad-free experience, premium newsletters) will be clearly marked as paid services. You will never be charged for accessing our standard card information, reviews, or promotional offers.
  3. Payment Methods
    We strive to offer a seamless payment experience. For any paid Services, we accept payments through the following secure methods:
  • Credit/Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and RuPay.
  • Net Banking: All major Indian banks.
  • Digital Wallets & UPI: Paytm, Google Pay, PhonePe, and other popular UPI apps.
  • Mobile Wallets: Other mobile payment solutions integrated with our payment gateway.

All payments are processed through PCI-DSS compliant, third-party payment gateways. Card Genius does not directly store or process your card details on its servers.

  1. Payment Terms
  • Currency: All transactions will be processed in Indian Rupees (INR).
  • Payment Authorization: By providing your payment information, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees for the Service you select.
  • Recurring Subscriptions: For subscription-based services, you authorize us to automatically charge the subscription fee at the beginning of each billing cycle (e.g., monthly, annually) until you cancel your subscription.
  • Taxes: All fees are inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) and any other government-mandated taxes, as required by Indian law.
  1. Automatic Renewal of Subscriptions
    Paid subscriptions will automatically renew at the end of each subscription period unless you cancel them before the renewal date.
  • You will receive a reminder email about the upcoming renewal 7 days before the payment is due.
  • It is your responsibility to cancel your subscription before the renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period.
  1. Cancellation & Refund Policy
  • Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings on our website. Cancellation will stop any future automatic renewals.
  • Refunds: Due to the digital and instantly accessible nature of our Services, we have a strict no-refund policy for paid subscriptions or one-time purchases. Refunds will not be provided for partial membership periods, non-use of the service, or if you simply change your mind.
  • Exceptional Circumstances: Refund requests may be considered only at our sole discretion in exceptional circumstances, such as a technical error on our part that made the service completely inaccessible for a prolonged period or duplicate payment. All requests must be sent to ask@cardgenius.co.in within 7 days of the charge.
  1. Failed Payments & Account Status
    If a payment for your subscription fails (e.g., due to expired card, insufficient funds), we will retry the payment method after a few days. You will be notified of the failed payment via email.
  • If the payment continues to fail, your premium subscription will be downgraded to a free account, and you will lose access to the paid features.
  • Access to premium features will be restored immediately upon successful payment.
  1. Pricing Changes
    Card Genius reserves the right to change the pricing of any premium Service at any time. We will provide you with at least 30 days’ notice via email before any price change affects your existing subscription. If you do not wish to accept the price change, you may cancel your subscription before it takes effect.

  1. Governing Law
